JAMMU, Mar 10: Cluster University of Jammu celebrated its 10th Foundation Day with enthusiasm at the auditorium of PSPS Government College for Women, marking a decade of academic growth, innovation and institutional achievements.

Dr Manoj Singh Gaur, Director of Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, was the chief guest on the occasion, while the programme was presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Prof K S Chandrasekar.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr Twinkle Suri. In his keynote address, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the University’s journey over the past decade, outlining its academic milestones, institutional growth and future vision aimed at strengthening higher education, research and innovation.
Among those present on the occasion were Ankur Mahajan, Registrar of the University, along with the Controller of Examinations, Financial Advisor, Deans of various faculties, Directors, Principals of constituent colleges, faculty members and students.
The celebrations also featured a cultural segment presented by students, including a melodious group song, a thought-provoking skit on water pollution highlighting the need for environmental responsibility, and an energetic Haryanvi group dance, showcasing the creativity and cultural diversity of the university community.
The programme also highlighted achievements of the university community in academics, research, sports, cultural and co-curricular activities, with outstanding performers being recognized for their contributions.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof Daljeet Singh Manhas, Dean Students Welfare.
