JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Saturday asserted that his party works with sensitivity towards people’s issues by nurturing deep affection for them among its activists.
The former Deputy Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating a free orthopedic camp at Bahu Fort here today. The camp was organized jointly by Sharda Kumari, Corporator Ward 47 and Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) team of doctors.
Kavinder Gupta said that party is always on the forefront to reach out people in need as the connect which BJP has developed with the population in J&K no other party can think of it. He also urged the party workers present on the occasion to deal with people’s issues with extreme sensitivity. “BJP is a public movement and not just a political outfit therefore it is responsibility of every constituent of the party to work for making lives of the people convenient and free from sufferings”, he added.
On the occasion, Dr Rajesh Gupta, HOD Orthopaedics, Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences along with his team rendered their services by examining and advising treatment to the persons with different orthopaedic ailments. The team also distributed free medicine to needy patients who attended today’s camp.
The Orthopaedic team led by Dr Rajesh Gupta after thorough examination of patients advised surgery to many patients, the team also offered free surgery to some needy patients who cannot afford the cost of surgery and treatment.
Corporator Sharda Kumari while speaking on the occasion lauded the services provided by the highly qualified Doctors’ team from ASCOMS led by HOD Orthopaedics Dr. Rajesh Gupta. She assured to conduct more such camps in future too to provide succour to the people of Ward No: 47.
Among those who were present included Vinay Gupta president BJP district Jammu, Vivek Patyal , Karuna Khetri President Gorkha Sabha, Sumit Bajrangi and Sunny Sangotra.
