VERINAG: After having a rope competition for boys, Zonal Physical Education Officer Verinag organised a rope skipping competition for girls of age group of U-14 and U-17 at Government Degree College Ground, Verinag.
A total number of 58 girls of U-14 and 34 girls of U-17 participated with zeal and enthusiasm from different schools of Verinag zone.
Hamidullah Bhat Senior Physical Education Master has graced the occasion who opined that there is a dire need of this kind of competitions to stay healthy in life.
He said that many athletes have already represented India in Various International competitions and brought laurels for the country. Our responsibility is to train our wards to excel in National and International Competitions and we will do all our efforts to give them a big platform.
After the culmination of Rope skipping competition prizes were distributed among the winners in presence of teaching staff and others.
