JAMMU: World Earth Day was celebrated at J K Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi with great fervour. The programme commenced with an oration by Nisha Chopra.
She adverted the attention of the Jakiians towards the great need of making optimum and judicial use of natural resources .
Jakiians presented concrete talks and a skit exhibiting that our misconducts towards Earth are destroying nature and it is our prime responsibility to preserve our earth and make it a better place to live in.
Students further raised the slogans to express that how they value their planet. They enacted the new ways to go green and reduce pollution.
Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah said, “Go green and make our earth a beautiful place to live. Earth has always given us every comfort and necessity of life. It takes care of everyone like a mother and we must also protect it and care for it in the best way. The most important thing is to protect the planet from pollution and deforestation and make the world a happier and healthy place to live.”
