JAMMU: Unique Public Senior Secondary School Gadigarh, Jammu held a drawing competition on ‘Fuel Conservation’ in collaboration with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Jammu under the supervision of Assistant Sales Manager HPCL Jammu, Varun Kundan to make the students aware about conservation of fuel.
Students of class 4th to 9th took active participation in the competition and . This competition intended to sensitize the students about the conservation of fuels and environment protection.
According to Ravinder Kour, Principal of the School, “The students made very nice and insightful drawings depicting the need to save fuel. Their slogans too stood out. The aim of the exercise was to create awareness among the students who will hold reins of the country in future.”
“Through this competition a message was given that how important fuel is and all should make use of fuel judicially,: she added.
Varun Kundan explained safe practices for use of fuels and various techniques for saving fuels.
