STATE TIMES NEWS REASI: To fight COVID pandemic, police on the one hand is propagating awareness about COVID Appropriate Behavior in every nook and corner of district through announcements, on the other hand enforcing & slapping fines against violators of COVID Appropriate Behavior in its jurisdiction to achieve 100 per cent compliance of SoPs. Under the drive Reasi Police booked 14,531 violators of COVID protocol throughout the district and collected a fine of Rs 13,27,145. Besides this police personnel including Village Defense Committee members have already been engaged in awareness drive as ‘Force Multiplier’ in vaccination campaign in Mahore & other remote areas of Reasi. SSP Reasi Shailender Singh told that Reasi Police is committed to make people aware about COVID SoPs besides making them to follow COVID appropriate behavior in totality along with vaccination which is the only way out to fight against this deadly pandemic. Singh further requested that people should come forward for COVID vaccination for making district Reasi 100 per cent vaccinated district at the earliest.
