JAMMU, Sept 18: The Women’s Senior Selection Committee led by Surabhi Dadeechi has finalised the list of probable to attend preparatory cum selection camp being organised by Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), here today.
The list includes 15 players each from Kashmir and Jammu regions. The camp will be supervised by the Women’s Senior Selection Committee.
The list of the shortlisted players from Jammu region including Sapna Jamwal, Tanisha Sharma, Sarla Devi, Shivangi Thakyal, Riya, Shallu Devi, Heena Quanser, Riffat Choudhary, Deepakshi, Nekha Devi, Nadia Choudhary, Sandhya Sayal, Kajal Bhagat, Pushpa and Jaspreet Kaur, whereas probable from Kashmir region are Bushra Ashraf, Sheeraza Bano, Adfar Ahmed, Ummat ul Nisa, Rubia Saeed, Lalee Jan, Bisma Hassan, Iqra Rasool, Abreek Zahoor, Ruqaya Hamid, Mehak Sofi, Irfana Ahad, Sohaila Mushtaq, Mahoora Akhtar and Insha Bashir.
“After the camp, a 20 players team will be selected which will represent the J&K in the senior women’s one day national championship which is scheduled to be held at Kolkata from October 20 to November 6,” said Brig Anil Gupta, Member Administration of JKCA.
