North India Karate Do C’ship organised

JAMMU, Jan 11: J&K Tenshinkan Karate Do Association hosted two days long (Kata/Kumite) Tenshinkan North India Karate Do Championship-2023, wherein players from various teams from North India are taking part.
The opening ceremony was held at Indoor Stadium Sports Complex Bhagwati Nagar wherein Kyoshi Hasrat Khan (India Chief Tenshinkan Karate Do) President Karate Association of India (KAI) inaugurated the tournament along with Jatinder Choudhary vice president, while Shihan Brijesh Bhau was chief technical director of the tournament.
The championship was organized under the overall supervision of Kyoshi Hasrat Khan president KAI and 8th DAN Japan. The national referees from various States have also participated in the event.
Dr Amit Vaid, president J&K Tenshinkan Karate Do Association has appreciated and praised the players and called for more participation of the younger generation in this sports activity.
Brijesh Bhau also appreciated the player for winning the medals. He also said it is a proud moment for us to host such a big level tournament.
