KATHUA, May 20: A book entitled “Literary Reminiscences” for literature students of Semester – II (Major/Minor) authored by Dr Arun Dev Singh and Dr Chander Mohan Sharma was released today in Government Degree College for Women, Kathua .
On this occasion, Dr Savi Behl, Principal of the college was the chief guest. The book is outcome of two University wits of Jammu University and presently serving in the Government Colleges as Associate and Assistant Professors of English.
Dr Arun Dev Singh informed that this book is complete and detailed book as per the New Education Policy for the undergraduate students of Semester -II falling under University of Jammu. He said that the approach followed in the book is simple ,interesting and understandable and provide lot of knowledge and ample information regarding all components as per syllabus for the students.
Dr Savi Behl appreciated the efforts of both the authors Dr Arun Dev Singh and Dr Chander Mohan for presenting a wonderful and practical book in the field of academics and she hoped that the present book shall be beneficial for the learners.
The book release ceremony was attended by Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Principal GDC, Mahanpur; Dr Anupam , Principal GDC, Marheen; Dr Pragya Khanna; Principal GLDC, Hiranagar; Dr Alka Sharma, Principal GDC, Billawar; Dr Ashu Vashist, Principal GDC, Paloura; Prof Seema Mir, Principal GDC, Boys, Kathua; Dr Nater Singh, Dr P K Rao, Dr Mohan Singh Pathania, Dr Ram Murti Sharma (Retd Principals) , Dr Chattarpati Sharma Retd Professor and other faculty members.
