NSF’s annual calendar released

JAMMU, Feb 12: Former Minister and JKNC additional general secretary, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today released the annual calendar taken out by National Secular Forum (NSF) in a simple but impressive ceremony organized at NC office here today.
Sadhotra was the chief guest whereas, former minister and president JKNC Central Zone, Babu Rampaul presided over the occasion. Ankush Abrol, JKNC Provincial joint secretary and Dr Vikas Sharma, JKNC Zonal secretary were the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Sadhotra lauded NSF for propagating the message of secularism. He emphasized on the need to spread the message of oneness among the different sections of the society. “India is home to cultural and religious diversity. Under such circumstances, it is highly imperative to keep secularism intact to strengthen the the nation,” he said.
Sadhotra exuded confidence that youth of the nation will thrive to strengthen the bond of amity and brotherhood among different communities.
Babu Rampaul lauded the efforts of NSF particularly promoting the cause of patriotism by remembering revolutionaries who fought with the British empire and secured freedom for us.
Earlier, NSF State secretary, Vikshay Vashist welcomed all the guests and briefed about the special features of the calendar. He said that Jayanti of martyrs of Independence have been mentioned on each page so that the younger generations could also remember them.
Mohd Omar Farooq, NSF Jammu University president, Vineet Gupta Jammu University Chairman, Abhishek Uppal Jammu District Chairman, Roshan Sharma president Jammu District, Rahul Shah president Cluster University, Atul Sharma senior vice-president Jammu University, Gourav Partap Singh, Roohullah Farooq and others were also present on the occasion.
