SRINAGAR: In the ongoing Professional League Football Tournamnet 2021 today the 15th of July two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.
The First match was played between J&K Bank XI and Real Kashmir FC.
A high voltage match full of many ups and downs. Both the teams tried to score from the very beginning creating chances for their forward line to score.
Real Kashmir FC dominated the scene right from the start of the play and scattered the defence line of J&K Bank team. They missed at least 4 to 5 chances but to their illuck could not find the net.
The Halftime score was 0:0. The 2nd half started with an aggressive football play by J&K Bank trying very hard to take the lead and ultimately succeeded in converting a goal in the 55th minute of the match through Aakif.
RKFC utilized their energy and expertise in full to find the equalizer. Though J&K Bank an experienced side won the match yet they found very difficult to with stand the pressure of RKFC XI.
The match ended with J&K Bank defeating RKFC by a solitary goal. Nirdosh Sagotra of J&K Bank was declared as Man of the Match.
The 2nd match was played between SCFA XI and Hyderya Sports FC. In the 19th minute of Ist half, Mehraj of Hyderya Sports FC scored a fine goal. Hyderya Sports FC tried hard to consolidate their lead but failed. Half time score was 1:0 infavour of Hyderya Sports FC.
The young Turks of SCFA exhibited quality Football and made some good moves on the opponents goal. They failed to find the net for an equaliser. In the 75th minute Hyderya Sports FC consolidated their lead by scoring another goal by Numeric thus Hyderya Sports FC defeated SCFA by a two goals to nil.
Mehraj of Hyderya Sports FC was declared as the Man of the Match and was presented the memento by Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Director Ajwa SMART water.
Tomorrow two matches will be played between Shaheen FC Jammu versus Downtown Hero’s FC and Kashmir Avengers FC versus Lonestar KFC.
The Tournament is organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
