STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A delegation of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum (AJKPTLF), under the leadership of its General Secretary R S Slathia and Convenor Pardeep Singh called on the Director School Education Jammu, Dr Ravi S Sharma on Friday. While interacting with DSEJ, the delegation highlighted various long pending demands of fraternity and urged the Director for initiating necessary measures to fulfill the same. They also submitted a memorandum to the Director. The major demands highlighted on the occasion included granting ACP/time-bound promotion to +2 cadre, adjustment of newly promoted lecturers, regularisation of all I/c incumbents, clearing vigilance clearance of promoted Principals & Lecturers, sanctioning Charge Allowance in favour of newly promoted Lecturers, repatriation of officers adjusted in hard zones, granting non-vocational benefits to Principals & Lecturers officially engaged even during vacations, induction into KAS after 14 years of service, opening of sub- offices of JKBOSE in remote areas etc. The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that all their genuine demands would be considered at the earliest. Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore was also present during the meeting and supported demands of delegation. Other members of the delegation included Jyoti Prakash (Principal), Anil Sharma (Principal & Ex- District President Ramban), Ghar Singh (Tehsil Head Bishnah) and Dr Ashok Sharma (Treasurer).
