JAMMU: Alleging gross violation of terms and conditions of agreement by Dharmarth Trust management, the employees of Dharmarth Trust have warned to restart their agitation if ongoing harassment and exploitation of poor employees is not stopped.
While addressing a Press conference held in Jammu on Thursday, members of Dharmarth Trust Employees Association, namely Rajinder Shastri alleged that Trust management is violating terms of agreement, signed with employees on April 22, 2021, as it has started terminating regular employees without citing any reason, whereas in the agreement it has been categorically mentioned that trust will regularise all such employees, who are working from last more than 7 years and salary of agitation period will also be released to all.
“It is strange that a pick and choose policy has been adopted by the administration, under which salary of some employees has been kept withheld deliberately,” he added.
President of Association, Vivek Badral alleged that trust administration in violation of agreement has not even revoked the orders against employees issued during agitation while salary of some employees has also been stopped from last more than six months. The employee leaders further stated that all these issues have been brought into the notice of Chairman Trustee Dr Karan Singh and other Trustees, Council Members, Advisory Committee etc but till date nothing has been done in favour of employees. The employees urged Chairman Trustee to issue necessary instructions for mitigating their sufferings, failing which they would be forced to restart their agitation.
