JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Power Employees and Engineers Coordination Committee (JKPEECC), after a meeting held on Thursday, decided to suspend its work boycott call for 15 days, on assurance of Principal Secretary PDD, Rohit Kansal.
Speaking after the meeting, the members of Coordination Committee said that Principal Secretary PDD, after three rounds of talks, assured for revisiting the suspension/attachments of engineers/officials within 15 days, after which JKPEECC will be free to proceed on their work boycott call. He further assured JKPEEC that there will be no victimisation of PDD engineers and staff on arbitrary and anonymous complaints in public domain.
JKPEEC expressed gratitude to all cadres who displayed exemplary unity and requested them to remain united till the matter is resolved by the administrative department and suspensions/attachments are revoked ab-initio.
The meeting was attended by Jaipal Sharma Chairman JKPEECC Jammu, Sachin Tickoo Convenor, Ashok Kumar Dubey Vice-President JKEEGA, Sanjeev Bali, President PPEU, Deep Mehra, Anil Slathia Linemen & Workers Union, Jasbir Singh, H D Singh, Tarun Gupta, Balbir Singh and Kulbir Singh.
