JAMMU: A major tragedy was averted after a fire, which broke out in a train, was timely doused with alertness of railway staff. As per details, fire broke out from tyres of a Katra-Gazipur train which was on its way from Katra Railway Station to Gazipur and same was detected by Superintendent of Hiranagar Nagar Railway Station, who informed Chann Arorian railway staff. On receiving information, railway staff made elaborate arrangements and as train reached Chann Arorian railway station, they doused fire after one hour’s effort.
