RS Pura: Ch. Mohan Singh, Vice President DCC, Jammu Rural on Saturday tendered his resignation to JKPCC President GA Mir from the party’s primary membership. Singh, who remained an active member of Congress party since 2008, shared his resignation letter on social media. Singh indicated in a letter to JKPCC President that he is resigning from the Congress party’s primary membership with immediate effect. “I hereby tender my resignation from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress [INC] with immediate effect,” he wrote. Further on the cause of his resignation, he stated, “It is my belief that the INC is unable to realize and reflect the sentiments and aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.” “I hereby tender my resignation from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress with immediate effect,” the letter stated. “I thank you for providing me an opportunity to serve the nation, its people and the party .”The letter was followed by a confirmation that he will be starting a ‘new chapter’ in his political journey.
