SRINAGAR/ KISHTWAR, Nov 1: Glowing tribute were paid to Parihar brothers on their Martyrdom Day today by BJP at various places.
Leader of Opposition, Jammu & Kashmir, Sunil Sharma, paid a heartfelt tribute at the BJP office in Kashmir to honour the memory of Anil Parihar and Ajeet Parihar, who were martyred by terrorists in Kishtwar on this day in 2018.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Sharma recalled their unwavering dedication, courage, and selfless service towards the nation and the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He said their martyrdom remains an eternal reminder of the sacrifices made by those who stood firmly against terrorism and worked tirelessly for peace and development in the region.
“The sacrifices of Anil and Ajeet will forever inspire generations of patriots to uphold the values of unity, nationalism, and service. Their contributions to the party and society can never be forgotten,” Sharma said.
He prayed for eternal peace to the noble souls of the martyred leaders and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to carry forward their mission of serving the people with dedication and courage.
Another solemn tribute programme was organized at the BJP Office, at Kishtwar to commemorate the martyrdom day of the valiant sons of Kishtwar, Anil Parihar and Ajit Parihar who made the supreme sacrifice while combating terrorism to safeguard the unity, integrity and harmony of the nation.
The programme was presided over by BJP district president, Ravi Parihar. MLA Kishtwar, Sushree Shagun Parihar was also present on the occasion.
Speakers on the occasion paid rich tributes to the Parihar brothers, remembering their unmatched courage and unwavering commitment to the motherland. They emphasized that the sacrifice of the Parihar brothers will remain a source of inspiration for generations to come, motivating citizens to serve the nation with patriotism and dedication.
A large number of BJP leaders, party workers, and local citizens attended the programme and offered floral tributes, reaffirming their collective pledge to uphold the values and ideals for which the Parihar brothers laid down their lives.
