Govt constitutes committee for resolution of bottlenecks in construction of Ramban-Banihal NH-44

JAMMU: The government on Monday constituted committee for resolution of bottlenecks in the construction of re-aligned section of Ramban-Banihal NH-44.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of a Committee for reviewing progress of projects on monthly basis and for taking timely decisions for resolution of bottlenecks in the construction of re-aligned section of Ramban-Banihal NH-44,” reads an order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner/ Secretary, General Administration Department. As per order, the committee will be headed by Chief Secretary, J&K as its Chairman while Principal Secretary, Revenue Department; Principal Secretary, PW(R&B) Department; Commissioner/Secretary, Department of Mining; Commissioner/ Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment; and Divisional Commissioner Jammu will be its Members “The Committee shall be serviced by the PW(R&B) Department,” the order stated.
