STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) shall be holding month-long 2nd online AFI Pre-Level-1 Coaching course (Foundation course) for people from different walks of life from October 15 to November 15. “The AFI is inviting all Physical Education Teachers (PETs), parents involved in coaching their young kids, coaches and ex-athletes, who wish to learn basics of Athletics coaching and become eligible World Athletics level-1 coaching course,” said a letter written to all affiliated units of the AFI. It further said, “Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be required to appear for an online exam in the fourth week of November”. The registration shall start from July 22 with last date being August 22. And, the minimum age for such courses is 18 years while maximum is 60 years.
